FIRE - No travel

CALENDAR NOTE - "Podzentations" in H-pod on Weds., Thurs., Fri.
  • Buildings D and E on WEDNESDAY
  • Buildings F and G on THURSDAY
  • Buildings H and I on FRIDAY

Discuss "setting priorities (school and life)" - watch 5 minute video HERE

DETAILS
  • Sit together in FIRE zone
  • Put phones away
  • Take attendance
  • Teacher- and leader-led discussion of prioritization - video here
    • What are your "big rocks" - the things you must do daily?
    • What are your "small rocks" - the things you want to do daily?
    • What are your "beans" - the fun but less important things?
    • Article: Prioritizing Your Life
  • Quick connection activity of choice (5-10 minutes) - one idea below
    • DIRECTIONS: Ultimate Rock, Paper, Scissors - In this version, people play in pairs and the rest of the group cheers them on like they are watching a professional sports game. Each time there is a winner, a new contender (the winner from another pair) steps up to challenge them. For some groups, you may need to set strict boundaries for how the game will go, so that it does not escalate beyond something silly and fun.
  • Use FTHS agendas to begin planning how to spend the advisory this week
