February 6-10

     for the future of every student

In the third quarter, our goals are to continue bonding with the grade 9 students, establish some new goals for second semester success, encourage students to use all resources available for being successful at Foothill!, and to arrange for targeted intervention for struggling students




Tuesday, February 7
SYNOPSIS

FIRE - No Travel

February 3-10 - Notifications about special program/course selection
Wednesday, 2/8 - DTech Info for Class of 2026, Meeting in I104, 12:05
Monday, 2/13 - No school
2/14 to 2/17 Spirit Week/Kindness Week
  • 2/14 "Love Day" - Valentine's Grams
  • 2/15 "Be Kind to Your Team Day" - games in quad
  • 2/16 "Be Kind to Yourself Day" - activity in quad
  • 2/17 "Random Acts of Kindness Day" - Kindness Court presentation in quad
Monday, 2/20 - No school
Friday, 2/24 - Dance at FTHS, 6:30-9:30 p.m. (tickets on sale 2/6)

DETAILS

  • Take attendance
  • Review of calendar
  • Plan a celebration/party/actvity for Tuesday, 2/14?
  • Use FTHS agendas to begin planning how to spend your advisory this week

  • Take attendance
  • Agendas out and ready to write/share plan for the week
  • Set up for in-room work or sign out for appropriate travel
    • Students should have a written goal for traveling
    • This is a "why I need to travel" statement
  • Leader(s) sit with students and connect/work alongside
    • Once everyone is set, leader should check on travelers
